摘　　要：中国佛教文化研究所(The Research Institute of Buddhist Culture of China,英文缩写:RIBCC)成立于1987年,是中国佛教协会下属的佛教文化研究机构和开展国内外佛教文化交流活动的窗口。中国佛教文化研究所遵照中国佛教协会的基本宗旨,配合中国佛教界加强自身建设、发展佛教教育、提高四众弟子整体素质的方针,制定长期和短期的研究计划,联合教内外学者对佛教历史、理论和现状进行研究;加强与全国高等院校和宗教研究机构、各地佛教寺院和佛学院校、佛学研究机构的联系;加强与中国香港、中国澳门和中国台湾地区佛教组织、佛教教育研究机构和佛教学者之间的联系;加强与国外佛教组织、佛教教育研究机构和佛教学者的联系;通过举办佛教学术会议,开展多种形式的佛教学术和文化艺术活动,出版《佛学研究》半年刊,致力于扩大佛教学术文化交流,促进佛教研究的开展和学术水平的共同提高,为佛教文化事业的发展,为祖国统一,为增进国家与人民之间的理解和友谊,为中国佛教实践和发展人间佛教理念,弘扬中华民族文化,建设社会主义物质文明和精神文明,积极贡献力量。The Research Institute of Buddhist Culture of China(RIBCC)was established in 1987.It is a Buddhist cultural research institute under the Buddhist Association of China and a window for Buddhist cultural exchange and activities within and outside China.The Research Institute of Buddhist Culture of China makes long and short term research plans by complying with the principal tenet of the Buddhist Association of China and cooperation with Chinese Buddhists whose guiding principle is to consolidate self-construction,develop Buddhist education and enhance the quality of the fourfold Buddhists as a whole.
