摘　　要：文章在梳理“强大的货币”相关文献的基础上,从国际经济学角度给出了“强大的货币”的定义,列举出由大国发行、长期价值稳定、国际化水平高、货币权力强、能够实施或防御金融制裁5个评判标准,并用GSDB数据库中的金融制裁案例论证了能够对外实施或防御金融制裁已经成为“强大的货币”的根本特征和判定标准。文章最后提出中国将人民币打造为“强大的货币”的若干策略。Based on a thorough literature review on"powerful currency",this paper defines a powerful currency from the perspective of international economics and provides five criteria for judgement:issuance by a main country,long term stable value,a high degree of internationalization,strong international currency power,and the capacity for use in international financial sanctions.Using financial sanction data from the Global Sanctions Database(GSDB),this paper argues that since the beginning of 21st century,the core feature and fundamental criteria of a powerful currency have been the ability to impose financial sanction on other countries,or to withstand financial sanctions imposed by others.This paper provides insights into strategies for making the Renminbi a powerful currency.
