Emerging from rural mobilization initiatives, the Movement of Literary and Artistic Correspondents was launched as a cultural campaign to galvanize mass participation and address the propaganda needs of the Anti-Japanese War,with its operational frameworks germinated within grassroots organizational practices. When all the initiators gathered in Guangzhou, the Literary and Artistic Correspondent Movement was first launched by the Guangzhou Literature Association and other units in 1938.The scale of the movement developed from rural areas to the whole country, and achieved excellent results in the Guangzhou stage, establishing sub-stations in Guangdong,Fujian,Guangxi,Yunnan,Guizhou and other provinces. After the Japanese occupation of Guangzhou, the main station moved to Guilin, under the leadership and restoration of the National Salvation Daily, and continued to expand the scale. On the whole, this movement made a great contribution to the propaganda of the Anti-Japanese War,training many people as literary and artistic correspondents, and striving to carry out the propaganda of the Anti-Japanese War.They broke the creative barrier between writers and the public, and the public can publicize the Anti-Japanese War by writing, which left a wealth of historical materials in historical research.
