银行业竞争与银行自身高质量发展的关系研究——基于中国城市数据的实证研究

摘　　要：合理有序的行业竞争是推动高质量发展的关键外部因素之一。本文选取2010-2022年中国的银行和城市数据,深入分析中国银行业竞争的高质量效应。分析发现:第一,国有大型银行、股份制、城商行、农商行的高质量发展水平依次递减。第二,我国银行业竞争程度逐年增强,显著促进了各银行自身高质量发展,具有较强的高质量效应。第三,银行业竞争对银行高质量的正向作用具有较强的区域和属性异质效应,即东、中、西部区域依次减弱;相比国有大型银行和农商行,股份制银行和城商行市场势力的增强,更有利于促进所在城市银行高质量发展。因此,为进一步提高银行高质量发展水平,需要构建更多元、更加合理、更具活力的银行竞争格局。Reasonable and orderly industry competition is one of the key external factors driving high-quality development.This article selects data from Bank of China and cities from 2010 to 2022 to analyze in depth the high-quality effects of competition in the Chinese banking industry.Analysis reveals that firstly,the high-quality development level of state-owned large banks,joint-stock companies,urban commercial banks,rural commercial banks,and private banks is decreasing in sequence.Secondly,the level of competition in China's banking industry has been increasing year by year,significantly promoting the high-quality development of various banks and having a strong high-quality effect.Thirdly,the positive effect of banking competition on the quality of banks has a strong regional and attribute heteroge⁃neity effect,with the eastern,central,and western regions gradually weakening;Compared to large state-owned banks and rural commercial banks,the enhanced market power of joint-stock banks and urban commercial banks is more conducive to promoting the high-quality development of banks in their respec⁃tive cities.Therefore,in order to further improve the high-quality development level of the banking in⁃dustry,it is necessary to build a more diverse,reasonable,and efficient competitive landscape for banks.
