The significance and value of the historiography of science in science communication

摘　　要：In the current development of science communication, to achieve the desired communication objectives,either in formal science education or science popularization for the public, the utilization of resources on the history of science has become a necessity. However, due to the limitations of their professional background, science teachers and science-popularization workers still face problems in understanding the history of science, which naturally affects the appropriate use of resources on the history of science in science communication. One possible way to solve this problem is to learn and gain some basic knowledge of the historiography of science.
