作为超媒介的“奥运城市”:2024年巴黎奥运会的双重叙事模式探析

摘　　要：在数字媒介技术介入下,作为“超级媒介事件”的奥运会与作为“超级媒介物”的城市的关系面临重塑。传统的“奥运城市”传播模式以“奥运”超媒介凭借主题优势“植入”城市空间为底层逻辑,而当下“城市”超媒介因其虚实交融的空间格局开始对“奥运”超媒介的主导权发起挑战。基于叙事学中的“双重叙事”理论,以2024年巴黎奥运会及残奥会的开幕式和闭幕式为研究对象,采取多模态叙事分析方法,探究“奥运”与“城市”这两种超媒介在巴黎奥运期间的叙事动力机制,并对奥运叙事与城市叙事之间关系的演进趋向、可能风险及调和策略展开讨论。研究发现,城市叙事地位的提升催生了奥运叙事模式的再造,体现在多维叙事空间的互构与遮蔽、多元叙事主体的共创与角力、多重叙事主题的互文与对冲等层面。新的“奥运城市”传播模式既展现出两种超媒介合力交融、共创传播的积极面向,也暴露出城市叙事在争夺主导权过程中可能导致的叙事断裂的风险。With the rise of digital media technologies,the relationship between the Olympic Games as a hypermedia event and the city as a hypermedia object is being redefined.Traditionally,the Olympic Games host city communication model has been driven by the logic of Olympic hypermedia“implanting”urban space through its thematic dominance.However,the city,with its integrated virtual and physical spatial layout,poses challenges on the dominance of the Olympic hypermedia.This paper applies dual narrative theory of narratology into the analysis of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.Through a multimodal narrative analysis,it explores into the dynamic interaction between the Olympic Games and the city as two hypermedia during the Paris Olympic Games.It reveals that the growing prominence of city narration has led to a reconstruction of the Olympic narrative model,as seen in the co-construction and occlusion of multi-dimensional narrative spaces,the co-creation and competition of diverse narrative agents,and the intertextuality and counteraction of multiple-level narrative themes.The new Olympic city communication model highlights both the potential for collaborative narration between the two hypermedia and the risks of narrative fragmentation arising from the city’s struggle for dominance.
