摘 要:屏后转出人物的方式,在明清小说的情节发展中多次运用。以此引申,依据背景不同,可分为以屏风和山坡为代表的常见惯例性转出,以及随事选取屏障物的具体性转出,还有“人物”和“旁边”两种不同背景出场。而所出场人物,有出场一次,再也不见,起到情节连贯作用的功能性人物;有情节在身的主要人物,此种或是意料之外,给人带来突兀之感,或是不重惊异效果,只是小说家进行情节展开的推手;再或是重要人物的首次亮相,调动书中人物视角以写新人物。而至《红楼梦》中,作者又以王熙凤“未语笑先闻”的出场艺术,以及花袭人、贾宝玉先后而出的情节设置,对这一简单套语进行敷演,摆脱了模式化的“套语”痕迹,显示出贴合生活的自然状态。Characters’appearing on the stage from the back of a screen has been used many times in the plot development of the novels from the Ming and Qing Dynasties.According to the different backgrounds,it can be divided into three kinds:first,a classic one that represented by a screen or a hillside;second,a random one that is decided by the plot;third,a figure;fourth,side.Among the characters,someone appeared only once,never to be seen again,as a coherent role in the plot development;someone,related to the following plots,brought readers a sense of suddenness,or drive the development of the story;someone,who made his first appearance,would provide a new perspective to describe a new role.As for A Dream in Red Mansions,Wang Xifeng“smiled before words”;Hua Xiren and Jia Baoyu came on the stage one after another.Such simple set of performances get rid of the formula,close to the natural state of life.
