Based on the project of high-filled embankment on sloping foundation of Fuqingcong Expressway in Guangdong Province, the stability of high-filled embankment on sloping foundation was numerically simulated and analyzed using PLAXIS finite element analysis software. At the same time, the influence of different treatment measures on the stability and deformation of high-filled embankment on sloping foundation was studied. The analysis results show that, when using PLAXIS finite element software to analyze the stability of sloping embankments, the results calculated by the unbalanced thrust method are closer to reality and more safe. When digging steps, its main function is to reduce the horizontal displacement of the embankment.Antislide piles have a significant effect on improving the stability of sloping foundation embankment, and also have a certain effect on reducing the deformation of the embankment. Moreover, setting anti-slide piles in the middle of the slope has a better effect;counter-pressure berms with appropriate combination of height and width can better improve the stability of filled embankment. These analysis results can comprehensively understand the deformation and stability characteristics of high fill embankments on sloping foundations under similar geological conditions, and effectively guide actual construction.
