摘 要:围绕新材料领域的前沿研究热点及科研成果设计了埃洛石纳米管/酚醛树脂基复合材料的综合实验项目。该实验项目以复合材料制备、表征测试和应用为主线,模拟科研工作的全过程。通过该综合实验,学生能够了解复合材料的研究进展,熟悉埃洛石纳米管的结构和性能特点,掌握复合材料的研发思路。该综合实验设计方案注重训练学生对多学科知识和实验技能的综合运用,激发学生的科研热情和探究兴趣,培养科研精神和自主创新能力。[Objective]Comprehensive polymer experiments can effectively enhance students’comprehensive qualities and innovation abilities through interdisciplinary and in-depth experimental skill training.Moreover,they play a positive role in cultivating excellent scientific thinking habits.Drawing on scientific research achievements and based on cutting-edge research hotspots in the new material field,a comprehensive polymer experimental project concerning halloysite nanotube(HNT)/phenolic formaldehyde composite materials is designed.This experimental project focuses on the preparation,characterization,and application of composite materials,simulating the process of scientific research.[Methods]Phenol formaldehyde(PF)resin is the first synthetic thermoset polymer and has been industrialized for over a hundred years.PF has excellent properties,such as high-temperature resistance,chemical resistance,low toxicity,and erosion resistance.However,the presence of rigid benzene rings in the molecular main chain reduces the mechanical properties of PF and limits its applications.HNT is a new type of inexpensive,readily available,and high-performance nanomaterial.HNTs have a unique hollow tubular structure with a large number of hydroxyl groups,a high aspect ratio,and a large specific surface area.Therefore,incorporating HNTs into a PF matrix to fabricate composite materials can enhance their properties and expand their application fields.First,the coarse powder of HNTs was purified.Subsequently,PF prepolymers and purified HNTs at proportions of 10%,20%,30%,40%,and 50% were evenly mixed and placed into molds in sequence.Afterward,the system was heated at 200℃ and pressurized in a flat vulcanizer(5 MPa)for 50 min.The properties of HNT/PF composite materials were characterized and examined by means of infrared spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analysis,scanning electron microscopy,tensile testing,and the vertical combustion method.[Results]The infrared spectrum demonstrates the successful preparation of the HNT/PF composite material.
