摘 要:明代中期以降,由于社会经济的变迁和儒家宗法礼制的变革等,许多宗族进行了规模可观的联宗活动。联宗不是实体性的宗族,而是一种介于血缘与地缘之间的宗族联合。文章以闽南地区的紫云黄氏为中心,考察了联宗的过程、方式与意义等问题。联宗的各宗族一般不一同参与具体的功能性事务,也不强求统一的字辈排行,参与联宗的各宗族在世系排行和组织运作上仍保持很大的独立性。作为明代以降闽南地区普遍的现象,联宗具有深远的社会文化意义:它提高了各宗族间的文化认同,加强了各宗族间的拟血缘联系,使得联宗成为闽南地区极具特色的地域文化。Since the mid-Ming Dynasty,due to social economic transformation and changes of Confucian patriarchal ritual system,many clans carried out a lot of union activities.Clan union was not a substantive clan,but a clan association based on a tie between blood and geography.Focusing on the Ziyun Huang clan in southern Fujian Province,this article investigated the process,methods and significance of clan union.In general,the clans of a united clan neither participated in specific functional affairs together,nor did they insist on a unified generation ranking.They still maintained great independence in lineage ranking and organizational operation.As a common phenomenon in southern Fujian since the Ming Dynasty,clan union has far-reaching social and cultural significance.It enhanced the cultural identity of various clans and strengthened the pseudoblood ties among clans,and thus became a unique regional culture of southern Fujian.
