东晋南北朝隋唐时期的“城局”

摘　　要：《宋书》《梁书》《魏书》《北史》等史籍载东晋南北朝官制中有“城局参军”,比对碑志石刻及敦煌吐鲁番文书等出土文献,可知此职实为“城扃参军”。城扃曹分置于东晋公府的贼曹,南北朝普遍设置于公府、州府及诸军镇中。城扃参军主掌城门出入关禁,同时兼有修浚备御等杂职。唐代前期废公府、州府城扃参军,但各级军镇体系中仍保留“城扃”一职,主掌供军杂料。中晚唐以后,“扃”因俗字用法偏移,常被用为“局”字的俗写。“城局”逐渐取代“城扃”,成为正式官称,“城扃”之本名,反而鲜为人知。宋代低级军官有“承局”一职,或由“城局”演化而来。According to historical records such as the Book of Song,Book of Liang,Book of Wei,and Book of Northern Dynasties,there was an official position named Chengju Canjun(Adjutant)in the Eastern Jin and the Southern and Northern dynasties.By comparing stone inscriptions and documents unearthed from Dunhuang and Turpan,it is known that this position was actually Chengjiong Canjun.Chengjiong Cao(Section)was set in the Police Section of the Ducal Establishment in the Eastern Jin,and was widely set in the Ducal Establishment,prefectures and military towns in the Southern and Northern dynasties.And this position was in charge of keys of town gates,as well as duties including dredging and defense preparation.In the early Tang,this position was still retained in the military system,mainly responsible for supplement of military sundries.However,in the middle and late Tang dynasty,the folk character“jiong”which means key of town gate was commonly used as a variant of“ju”which means bureau,and Chengju gradually replaced Chengjiong as the official title.In the Song dynasty,there was a junior military appointment named Chengju,which maybe had evolved from Chengju.
