摘　　要：The disasters caused by tropical cyclones(TCs),including gale-force winds,heavy rainfall,and storm surges,have profound social and economic impacts,which are closely associated with the track,intensity,and structure of TCs.Over the past few decades,significant progress has been made in developing theories and understanding the mechanisms of TC genesis and development,as well as advancing the monitoring and forecasting of TCs.
