摘　　要：大学生群体往往被认为是具有较高阅读能力和阅读热情的群体,然而事实却并非尽如人意。对此高校图书馆何为?中国阅读学研究会名誉会长、南京大学徐雁教授的新著《书香危言:当代大学生阅读危机干预方略》措意于此,直面当代大学生的阅读问题,为高校图书馆的阅读推广工作提供各种切实有效的指导。论著十分注重实用性,同时兼具学术性,总结提炼出不少新的、有价值的阅读推广理念。文章对该书进行相应评述,同时提出:要真正面对大学生的阅读问题,对阅读内在价值的重申及其文化地位的复魅,是一个无法回避、至关重要的议题。The college students are often considered to be a group with high ability and enthusiasm for reading,yet this is not always the case.What should university libraries do about this?Professor Xu Yan of Nanjing University,Honorary President of the China Reading Research Association,has written a new book entitled Book Crisis:Intervention Strategies for Contemporary College Students Reading Crisis,which is based on this question.Facing up to the reading problems of contemporary college students,it provides a variety of practical and effective guidance for the reading promotion in university libraries.The book pays great attention to practicality and academic,summarising and refining many new and valuable ideas for reading promotion.The article reviews the book and suggests that the reaffirmation of the intrinsic value of reading and the revival of its cultural status is an unavoidable and crucial topic,in order to truly face the reading problem of college students.
