周星驰经典电影IP再创作的得失与启示——基于《喜剧之王》与《新喜剧之王》的分析

摘  要:周星驰的经典电影《喜剧之王》鼓励青年坚持梦想、努力奋斗,深度契合年轻受众的受挫心理和真爱理想,带来了极佳的观影体验。《新喜剧之王》复刻《喜剧之王》的电影文本,尝试召唤起观众对其的情怀体验,但这种再创作因缺乏观众喜闻乐见的真爱理想,人物设置新意不够,故无法完整地延续原IP生成和凝结的情感。《新喜剧之王》的意义生成机制过于依赖《喜剧之王》,在社会布景方面悬浮游离,演员表演刻意模仿“无厘头”,缺乏主动性,使得观众在解读影片意义时出现明显滞涩。《新喜剧之王》尝试带给观众的正能量与时下的“丧文化”之间产生了严重的排异反应;受众从如梦的励志表演中并不能获得观影的满足,传播者的意图和受众对电影信息的获取之间出现了明显的裂隙;佛系青年极力抵抗并尝试消解鸡汤话语,使得周星驰对年轻人坚持理想的召唤落在了空处;在青年亚文化中,周星驰及其电影作品从一种顺向建构的资源库变成了反向吐槽的对象。这也启示我们,经典IP再创作必须在把握原作精神内核的基础上形成独立的文本意义,对原IP意义进行拓展和延伸,并要与当下社会现实有效对接,才能真正召唤起观众的情怀体验。Stephen Chow’s classic film King of Comedy encourages young people to persist in their dreams and strive hard,deeply resonating with the frustrations and ideals of true love among young audiences,providing an excellent viewing experience.The New King of Comedy recreates the film text of King of Comedy in an attempt to evoke the audience’s emotional connection with the original,but this recreation fails to fully extend the emotions generated and condensed by the original IP.The lack of a popular true love ideal that resonates with audiences and the insufficient novelty in the character design hinder the emotional continuity of the original IP.The meaning generation mechanism in The New King of Comedy overly relies on King of Comedy,floating in its social setting,with the actors’performances intentionally imitating“nonsense comedy”,which lacks spontaneity,making it difficult for the audience to interpret the film’s meaning clearly.The positive energy The New King of Comedy attempts to convey is in severe conflict with the current“laid-back”culture,leading to a disconnect between the intent of the filmmakers and the audience’s reception of the film.Audiences cannot gain satisfaction from the motivational performance,and the gap between the intentions of the filmmakers and the audience’s interpretation of the film’s message is clearly evident.Young people with a“Buddhist”attitude strongly resist and attempt to discredit the feel-good message,causing Stephen Chow’s call for youth to hold onto their ideals to fall flat.Within youth subcultures,Stephen Chow and his films,once a resource for positive inspiration,have now become the subject of sarcastic critiques.This highlights the insight that the recreation of classic IP must not only preserve the core spirit of the original but also form an independent textual meaning.Expanding and extending the meaning of the original IP should be effectively connected to current social realities in order to truly evoke the emotional experience of the audi
