The terrain in Northeast China is seriously eroded by freeze-thaw.The water in the soil freezes due to freezing and thawing, which changes the volume of the soil, causes it to expand or shrink, destroys the structure of the soil, changes the properties of the soil, and then leads to the change and increase of soil erosion.Due to the lack of research on freeze-thaw erosion,it is difficult to predict and evaluate soil erosion in China. This paper analyzes how the indoor oneway closed freeze-thaw cycle experiment changes the physical characteristics of sandy soil under the action of freeze-thaw,and studies the mechanical influence of this process on soil erodibility. The results show that freeze-thaw action will reduce soil bulk density and increase porosity, thus affecting soil erosion. The permeability of soil will increase with the increase of freeze-thaw cycles, and its change trend is very similar to that of porosity. The increase of freeze-thaw temperature difference and initial water content of soil samples will lead to the decrease of soil bulk density and the increase of porosity and permeability.
