摘 要:汉学家柯马丁《诗经》研究,使用了“表演”“资源库”之说及“文化记忆”理论,并由此断言:《诗经》不可断代。如此研究带有强烈的“超越诉求”的主观色彩,基本无视《诗经》在创制及早期传承上的文化特点。柯马丁以“表演”“文化记忆”以及他修改后的“资源库”理论来解释全部的《诗经》,不顾理论在文化上的水土不服,正是其最大的问题。忽略《诗经》本身特定文化观念造成的复杂性,并极其主观地将诗篇的年代往后拉,都令其理论的阐释效果大大降低。The sinologist Martin Kern's research on The Book of Songs employs concepts such as “performance” “textual repertoire” and the theory of “cultural memory”, leading him to assert that The Book of Songs cannot be dated. This research has a strong subjective color of “transcendence”, largely ignoring the cultural characteristics of The Book of Songs during its creation and early transmission. By using“performance” “cultural memory” and his modified “textual repertoire” theory to explain the entirety of The Book of Songs, Kern overlooks the fact that the theory is culturally incompatible with the text, which is a significant flaw in his approach. His disregard for the complexities of the specific cultural concepts inherent in the The Book of Songs, combined with an extremely subjective tendency to push the dating of the poems further back, significantly diminishes the effectiveness of his interpretation.
