摘  要:补怛落迦山(Potalaka)是华严、密宗两大叙事传统中共同承认的观音菩萨住处。它的现实原型可能是高耸陡峭的南印度圣山,经过文本的层累建构,增添了“海岛”“小白华树”“众宝所成”等特征。晚唐以来的艺术图像描绘观音菩萨住处时,选取岩石、流水、山林等基本元素,结合现实与想象实现其艺术表达。Mount Potalaka is the abode of Guanyin Bodhisattva recognized by both Huayan and Tantra Buddhism narrative traditions.Its real prototype may have been a towering and steep sacred mountain in South India.Through the layered construction of texts,it gained characteristics such as being a“Seaside Island”,the“Little White Flower Tree”,and a place formed by“Formed by Myriad Treasures”.In artistic representations of Guanyin Bodhisattva's abode since the late Tang dynasty,basic elements like rocks,flowing water,and mountains have been selected,combining reality and imagination to achieve its artistic expression.
