摘　　要：城市考古是中国考古学的重要内容。考古工作者在十余年来的考古调查、钻探和发掘工作中,不断总结辽上京城市考古发掘工作的经验和教训,不断更新考古发掘工作的理念和操作方法。通过总结城市考古工作的基本流程和步骤,本文详细介绍了辽上京遗址考古发掘中的精耕细作和关键性解剖发掘及其重要意义,指出作为一名合格的考古项目负责人所应具备的基本素质和努力方向,提出了荒野型城市考古的基本方法、路径,期望逐步提升城市考古的发掘理念和技术方法,以推进中国城市考古发掘和研究的整体水平。Urban archaeology is a crucial component of Chinese archaeology.Over the past decade,archaeological surveys,coring,and excavations at the Shangjing of the Liao Dynasty have led to continuous update in both the theory and methods used in urban archaeological excavation.Through summarizing the basic procedures and steps involved in urban archaeology,a detailed introduction of the meticulous excavation and critical profiling carried out at the Shangjing site and its significance were provided.It identifies the key qualities and directions of effort required for a qualified archaeological project leader.It also proposes foundational methods and approaches for open air urban archaeology,aiming to enhance excavation concepts and techniques and ultimately raise the overall standards of urban archaeological excavation and study in China.
