基于“知识三角”框架的美国研究型大学参与区域创新的路径研究——以约翰斯·霍普金斯大学为例

摘　　要：在知识经济时代,创新已成为推动区域经济社会可持续发展和包容性增长的关键驱动力,而大学则是区域创新的重要引擎,经历了三次重要的“学术革命”,尤其是研究型大学在区域创新中被赋予了重要使命。“知识三角”理论指出:大学是参与区域创新的核心机构,强调大学的教育、研究和创新三大职能之间的交互作用。文章以约翰斯·霍普金斯大学为例,研究基于“知识三角”框架,深入探讨了美国研究型大学参与区域创新的两条主要路径:一是“研究-创新轴”,包括通过研究和开发活动推动区域创新,通过创新创业促进企业发展;二是“教育-创新轴”,包括通过教育发展区域人力资本,通过改善社会文化促进社会公平。In the era of the knowledge economy,innovation is a critical driver for sustainable development and inclusive growth of regional economy and society while universities are important engines of regional innovation.A university’s experience of three major“academic revolutions”have established the essential mission of research universities in the regional innovation as the theory of the knowledge triangle points out universities are core institutions involved in regional innovation,emphasizing the interaction between the three functions of the university’s education,research,and innovation.This study studies the case of Johns Hopkins University on the framework of the knowledge triangle to explore two main pathways of American Research Universities’participation in the regional innovation:the“research-innovation axis”pathway involving the facilitation of the regional innovation through research and development activities and the development of enterprises through innovative entrepreneurship activities;the“education-innovation axis”pathway focusing on the development of regional human capital through education and the promotion of social equity by improving socio-cultural environment.
