摘　　要：义福是盛唐时期在两京地区传播东山法门的高僧。他在长安建立传法基础,开拓禅法传播的范围,获得知识人的信重。严挺之或因婚姻风波问道于义福。他终身服膺东山禅法,曾劝导张九龄等人禅修,是禅法的积极传播者。然而,严挺之有时在政务处理上欠缺协调、任情用事,带给自己和友人在政治上的挫折。生活中间存在各种矛盾纷争,人们未必理性行事,禅修对世俗生活的影响有局限性。Yifu was an eminent monk who propagated the Dongshan School of Chan Buddhism in Chang'an and Luoyang during the High Tang Dynasty.He established the foundation for spreading Chan Buddhism in Chang'an,and earned the trust of intellectuals.Yan Tingzhi,possibly due to marital turmoil,sought guidance from Yifu.He remained a lifelong devotee of Dongshan School,becoming a disciple of Yifu together with Du Yu,the younger brother of Du Xian,and actively promoted Chan practice by persuading his friends like Zhang Jiuling to meditate.However,Yan Tingzhi's sometimes uncoordinated and capricious handling government affairs and tendency to act on personal emotions brought political setbacks to himself and his friends Du Xian and Zhang Jiuling.There are various conflicts and disputes in life,and people may not always be able to make appropriate choices,so the influence of Chan practice on secular life has its limitations.
