彭昌祚《恐自逸轩琐录》考论

摘　　要：通过对彭昌祚《恐自逸轩琐录》一书的考证和分析,可知该书主体是完成并刊刻于咸丰初年的笔记体文言小说集。与清代同类作品相比,该书体量较大且质量较高,至今尚未被系统整理和专门研究。该书作者彭昌祚出身江西宁都望族,曾续娶“乾隆三大家”之一南昌蒋士铨的孙女。书中所录内容包括奇趣鬼怪之事、谳狱案件、亲友诗话、师友言行遗事、各地诗词联语、种竹栽花诸法和医药各方。本文不仅考证了作者生平,而且总结了该书的三个主要特点:一是作者虽有明显的据实记录见闻的意图,但仍不免展现出故事和文献传播的复杂性;二是书中反映的进步与落后兼具的思想特征与作者的身份及所处时代十分契合;三是全书文字精准洗练且不失趣味,显示了作者深厚的文学修养。Through the examination and analysis of Peng Changzuo's bookKong Zi Yi Xuan Suo Lu,it is revealed that its main body is a collection of classical Chinese novels in the style of notes,which were written and published in the early years of Emperor Xianfeng's reign.Compared with similar works in the Qing Dynasty,it is larger in volume,higher in quality,and has not yet been systematically organized or specially studied.The author,Peng Changzuo,was born into a prominent family in Ningdu,Jiangxi.He once remarried the granddaughter of Jiang Shiquan,one of the“Three Great Masters of the Qianlong period”in Nanchang.The content recorded in the book includes the author's observations of strange and supernatural events,prison cases of the time,stories and deeds of teachers and friends,poetry and words of relatives and friends,couplets of poems and verses from various regions,various methods of planting,and various aspects of medicine.In addition to verifying the author's life,this article also summarizes three main characteristics of the book:first,the author has a clear intention to record his observations based on facts,but inevitably displays the complexity of storytelling and literature dissemination;second,the ideological characteristics of both progress and backwardness reflected in the book are closely in line with the author's era and identity;third,the precise and interesting writing throughout the book demonstrates the author's excellent and profound literary cultivation.
