Internal medicine miscellaneous diseases are common in clinical practice and difficult to cure.Traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in treating internal medicine miscellaneous diseases. This article summarizes Professor Wang Xinwei s clinical experience in treating miscellaneous diseases by liver theory.Professor Wang believes that the circulation of qi and blood in the human body depends on the liver s laxity, and that the liver s qi is relaxed, which leads to the harmony of qi and blood and the regulation of organs;Liver qi depression leads to disease, and the movement of the five organs is hindered.Professor Wang attaches great importance to the important role of the liver in the five organs, while also taking into account the liver, spleen, and kidney. He emphasizes that clinical treatment should focus on syndrome differentiation and treatment, seeking the root cause of the disease, and combining Chinese and Western medicine. When treating, attention should be paid to protecting the spleen and stomach, regulating the five organs, and selecting liver soothing and liver softening drugs is more beneficial for treating miscellaneous diseases based on liver theory.
