摘　　要：绥和元年二月,汉成帝立其所中意并得到中外朝重臣推戴的定陶王刘欣为皇太子。由于其自认为主导着朝政,接下来在处置后续事务时便显得颇为从容与自信。及至该年冬淳于长案发后,随着案情的发展,让成帝察觉自己为诸权贵所算计,遂对政坛展开大清洗。如严惩淳于长、王立及其亲党,逼丞相翟方进自杀;对刘欣及其外戚严加约束。再如立刘景为刘欣之父刘康的继嗣,要求刘欣入居太子宫,仅得与其祖母傅太后相见;将自己所亲信的大臣调整至关键位置。又如以王莽取代王根为大司马,以孔光为左将军、王咸为右将军,后又计划拜孔光为丞相,意欲在即将到来的新时代实现对刘欣的制衡。成帝此举对哀帝初年的政局产生了深刻影响。In February of the first year of Suihe(8 BCE),Emperor Cheng of Han appointed his nephew Liu Xin as the Crown Prince.Due to confidence in his dominance of national affairs,Emperor Cheng appeared quite calm and confident in handling subsequent related affairs.After the occurrence of the Chunyu Zhang case in the winter of the same year,with the development of the case,Emperor Cheng discovered that he had been deceived by a group of powerful people.As a result,he launched a major political purge,severely punished Chunyu Zhang,Wang Li,and their followers,and forced Zhai Fangjin,his Prime Minister,to commit suicide.In the meantime,he strictly restrained Liu Xin and his relatives,designated Liu Jing as Liu Kang's successor,and required Liu Xin to reside in the palace of Crown Prince.Only his grandmother,Empress Dowager Fu,was allowed to visit him in the palace.Moreover,he transferred his trusted officials to the key positions,such as replacing Wang Gen with Wang Mang as the Grand Sima,appointing Kong Guang as the Left General and Wang Xian as the Right General,and later on intending to appoint Kong Guang as the Prime Minister,with the intention of balancing Liu Xin in the upcoming new era.The move of Emperor Cheng had a significant influence on the political situation in the early years of Emperor Ai'reign.
