摘　　要：新闻是一种论辩性的话语实践,争端议题新闻是大国战略博弈以解决意见分歧的重要角力场。新媒介赋权所带来的新闻论辩多模态转向拓展了国际论辩场域,多模态论辩成为强势崛起的跨学科时新议题。在对国内外多模态论辩研究详叙钩沉的基础上,鉴于语用论辩学的交际观、语境观、程序观、整合观和对话观,本文论证了其分析框架对多模态新闻论辩的可供性和适用性,以奠定学理依据和实践模型;继而以中国权威对外英文媒体China Daily和Global Times刊载的36幅“日本核污水排海”主题新闻漫画为语料,从论辩重构、策略操控、论辩评估三个方面透视我国媒体维护己方立场并驳斥反方谬论的多模态论辩过程,冀以促进学界对多模态论辩认识论、方法论和实践论的纵深耕耘,增强我国媒体在国际复调场域舆论交锋的合理性与有效性,提升媒介融合背景下我国媒体的隐性论辩说服力,助力其更好发挥保障国家权益、捍卫国家形象、维护世界和平、促进共同发展、增进人类福祉等社会效能。As a form of argumentative discourse practice,news that focuses on international disputes plays a crucial role as an arena for nations to resolve differences of opinion.This role has been further enhanced by the shift towards multimodal news argumentation,which has been facilitated by the emergence of multimedia.At present,multimodal argumentation has become a newly rising interdisciplinary field.The paper first conducts a detailed literature review of multimodal argumentation both domestically and internationally,and then analyzes the rationale for utilizing the Pragma-dialectics approach in examining multimodal argumentation.A multimodal corpus,consisting of 36 cartoons on Japan's nuclear-contaminated water discharge,retrieved from China Daily and Global Times,has been compiled and examined.This corpus aims to explore the multimodal argumentation used by Chinese media to defend its position and refute the opposing side.The multimodal argumentation process is examined from three aspects:reconstruction of argumentation,strategic maneuvering,and evaluation of argumentation.The research will contribute to the theorization and advancement of multimodal argumentation.Moreover,the research results can be applied to enhance the rationality,effectiveness,and persuasive power of Chinese media's argumentation in international disputes.This improvement will be beneficial for safeguarding national interests,defending the national image,maintaining world peace,promoting common development,and enhancing human welfare in the multimedia era.
