知识产权保护、创新路径与企业全要素生产率:基于中国制造业企业的研究

摘  要:加强知识产权保护,激励企业自主创新,是制造业企业全要素生产率提升的根本路径。以我国2014-2021年31个省、市、自治区的27个制造业行业、1120家上市公司数据为样本,通过构建面板数据模型、机制效应模型和门槛效应模型,识别了知识产权保护对制造业企业全要素生产率的影响。研究发现:(1)知识产权保护显著提升了制造业企业的全要素生产率,影响系数为0.225,在1%的水平上显著,但是影响存在明显的行业研发密度异质性;(2)随着知识产权保护力度的加强,制造业企业会通过技术引进和自主创新两种路径进行技术升级,长期来看,自主创新对制造业企业全要素生产率的影响作用明显大于技术引进;(3)知识产权保护对制造业企业全要素生产率的作用受技术引进水平和自主创新水平影响,呈现出显著的阶段性特征。研究表明,加强知识产权保护有助于激励企业实现创新路径转换,促进制造业企业全要素生产率的提升。The fundamental path to improving total factor productivity in manufacturing is to strengthen intellectual property protection and incentivize enterprises to innovate on their own.This paper uses the data of 27 manufacturing industries and 1120 listed companies in 31 provinces in China from 2014-2021,and uses the panel data model, mechanism-effects model and threshold-effects model to identify the impact of intellectual property protection on the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises.This paper found that intellectual property protection significantly enhances the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises, with an impact coefficient of 0.225 and significant at the 1% level, but there is obvious industry R&D density heterogeneity in the impact;With the strengthening of intellectual property protection, manufacturing enterprises will carry out technological upgrading through two paths of technological introduction and independent innovation, and in the long run, the effect of independent innovation on the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises is significantly larger than that of technology introduction;The effect of intellectual property protection on the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises is affected by the level of technology introduction and the level of independent innovation, which shows a significant stage characteristic.This paper suggests that strengthening intellectual property protection can incentivize enterprises to achieve innovation path transformation and promote the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises.
