摘　　要：“古今中西之争”的实质是在历时性的世界历史逻辑和共时性的世界交往逻辑中确定民族国家的文化认同和发展路向,回答“从哪里来、到哪里去”的问题。西方社会通过资本主义生产方式的普遍化和“普世价值”的全球化输出构建了单一的现代化发展模式,以“现代化等同于西方化”的话语体系制造了“古今中西之争”的错认,使后发国家独特的文化主体性日益失迷。“第二个结合”作为习近平文化思想具有突破性的原理性贡献,从文化现代化和文化主体性建构两个维度回答了“举什么旗、走什么路”的问题,以“古为今用、洋为中用”破解了西方社会对“古今中西之争”问题的错认,构建了“新的文化生命体”,推动中华文明的生命更新和现代转型,开创了人类文明新形态。The essence of the"Debate over the Ancient and the Modern,China and the West"lies in determining the cultural identity and development direction of a nation-state in the diachronic logic of world history and the synchronic logic of world exchanges,and answering the questions of"where we come from and where we are going".Western society has constructed a single modernization development model through the generalization of the capitalist mode of production and the global output of"universal values".With the discourse system of"modernization being equivalent to Westernization",it has created a misrecognition of the"Debate over the Ancient and the Modern,China and the West",making the unique cultural subjectivity of late-developing countries increasingly lost.As a breakthrough and principled contribution of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture,the"Second Integration"has answered the questions of"what banner to hold and what path to take"from the two dimensions of cultural modernization and the construction of cultural subjectivity.It has cracked the misrecognition of the"Debate over the Ancient and the Modern,China and the West"by Western society with the principle of"making the past serve the present and the foreign serve China",constructed a"new cultural life form",promoted the renewal of the life and modern transformation of Chinese civilization,and initiated a new form of human civilization.
