摘　　要：基于2005—2022年我国省级面板数据,利用固定效应模型考察技术创新对制造业就业的影响,运用中介效应模型检验产业结构在该影响机制中发挥的作用并提出发展建议。研究结果表明:技术创新可以显著促进制造业就业;产业结构在技术创新影响制造业就业中具有部分中介作用;中部的技术创新对制造业就业的影响程度要强于东西部地区;相对于政府干预较为宽松的情况,在高强度政府干预情况下,技术创新对制造业就业的影响更为显著。未来应增强技术创新动力,优化产业结构,推动技术创新、产业结构和制造业就业协调发展。Using provincial panel data from China spanning 2005 to 2022,this study employs a fixed-effects model to examine the impact of technological innovation on manufacturing employment.Subsequently,a mediated-effects model is employed to assess the role of industrial structure within the mechanism of this impact,followed by the proposal of developmental recommendations.The findings suggest that technological innovation can significantly promotes manufacturing employment,a conclusion that holds firm even after rigorous robustness checks.Industrial structure is found to act as a partial mediator in the relationship between technological innovation and manufacturing employment,influencing the underlying mechanism.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the effects of technological innovation on manufacturing employment are more pronounced in the central regions relative to the eastern and western areas.Moreover,the influence of technological innovation on manufacturing employment is found to be more significant under stringent government intervention compared to conditions of lenient intervention.Future endeavors should concentrate on fostering technological innovation,optimizing industrial structure,and encouraging the harmonized advancement of technological innovation,industrial structure,and manufacturing employment.
