摘　　要：为评价星载JPEG-LS(joint photographic experts group-lossless)压缩算法对“北京三号”C卫星图像质量的影响,并为在轨压缩比设置提供技术和数据支撑,结合目视检查并通过对差值图像的最大值(maximum error,MAE)、峰值信噪比(peak signal to noise ratio,PSNR)和压缩前后图像结构相似度(structural similarity index,SSIM)等客观指标的比较分析,对薄云、城市、海面、湖泊、沙漠、山地、雪山、云和植被等9类场景的全色及多光谱图像在不同压缩比情况下的图像信息损失影响进行了对比。地面测试和在轨验证结果表明:该星上压缩算法通过设置和调整压缩比可以保证图像质量,满足用户的使用需求,并支撑“北京三号”C卫星星座为客户提供更好的数据服务。To evaluate the impact of on-board JPEG-LS(joint photographic experts group-lossless)compression algorithm on the image quality of BJ-3C Satellite and to provide technical and data support for in-orbit compression ratio setting,visual inspection and comparative analysis of objective indicators such as MAE(maximum error),PSNR(peak signal to noise ratio)and SSIM(structural similarity index)before and after compression were combined.The impact of PAN(panchromatic)and MS(multispectral)images of nine types of scenes,including thin clouds,cities,sea surfaces,lakes,deserts,mountains,snow-capped mountains,clouds and vegetation,on the loss of image information under different compression ratios was compared.The results of the ground test and in-orbit verification show that the on-board compression algorithm can ensure image quality and meet customer requirements by setting and adjusting the compression ratio,and can now support the BJ-3C constellation to provide better data services to customers.
