论《仿生人会梦见电子羊吗?》的动物隐喻

摘　　要：美国当代科幻小说家菲利普·K·迪克的经典长篇小说《仿生人会梦见电子羊吗?》描写了自然人与仿生人的博弈,探索了后人类时代的人机伦理困境。小说巧妙运用动物隐喻折射社会现实和人的内心情感。最先灭绝的猫头鹰标志着人类悲剧的开端;先后被饲养的不同宠物羊品种隐喻了主人公从善良到邪恶的品性变化;驴隐喻徒劳无功的努力;蛤蟆隐喻顽强的生命力;蜘蛛隐喻虚构的信仰。小说中的6种典型动物隐喻意蕴丰富,也起到了充实人物形象、推动情节发展的作用。The classic novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by contemporary American science fiction writer Philip K.Dick depicts the game between natural humans and androids,exploring the ethical dilemma of human-machine interaction in the post human era.The novel cleverly uses animal metaphors to reflect social reality and human inner emotions.The first owl to go extinct marks the beginning of human tragedy;the different breeds of pet sheep raised successively symbolize the protagonist's character transformation from good to evil;the donkeys symbolize futile efforts;the toads metaphorically represent the tenacious vitality;spiders symbolize fictional beliefs.The six typical animal metaphors in the novel are rich in meaning and thought-provoking,and play a role in enriching character images and promoting plot development.
