摘　　要：弃儿与弃儿叙事作为一个重要书写内容广泛存在于世界各地古代与近代的文学作品中,《弃儿汤姆·琼斯史》则集中表现了这一主题。一方面,“弃儿”的身份成为“追寻”的前提,并由此展开汤姆·琼斯的游荡,具有叙事层面的延展力量;另一方面,母体本身所发生的抛弃事件又与其隐藏的凝视性质的关心结合在一起,从而为汤姆·琼斯的精神荒原提供一个方向标。《弃儿汤姆·琼斯史》不仅呈现出个体“弃儿”的人生际遇,更以“史”的概念贯穿起人类的“被抛”与“被抛弃”的事实和“追寻”的动作。无疑,“弃儿”是充斥着原型意义的他者符号,尤其是对于现代文学来说,角色身份经历了从“弃儿”到“孤儿”的流变,正也以此窥见现代文学中的去伦理化的现象,达到“回归母体”的有机书写.The theme of the abandoned child and the narrative of abandonment is a significant subject that is widely present in ancient and modern literary works around the world.The History of Tom Jones,a Foundling highlights this theme in particular.On one hand,the identity of being a"foundling"serves as the premise for"searching,"which sets off Tom Jones's wanderings and provides a narrative extension.On the other hand,the act of abandonment by the mother is combined with her hidden,gaze-like concern,thus offering a direction for Tom Jones's spiritual wilderness.The History of Tom Jones,a Foundling not only presents the life experiences of an individual"foundling"but also connects the human experiences of being"thrown"and"abandoned"with the act of"searching"through the concept of"history."Undoubtedly,the"foundling"is a symbolic figure filled with archetypal significance,especially in modern literature.The evolution of the character's identity from"foundling"to"orphan"reflects the de-ethical phenomenon in modern literature and achieves an organic writing of"returning to the mother."
