主位视角下语气词“吧”的知识调节功能

摘　　要：本文运用会话分析研究方法,以真实发生的自然会话为语料,从主位视角对语气词“吧”的知识调节作用进行了详细分析和阐释。研究发现,当交际者对双方均占有的信息进行询问时,语气词“吧”的使用可以调低讲话人对于相关信息的确定度或在知识梯度上的相对位置,从而使该话轮执行“寻求确认”这一行为,避免了相关话轮被误解为其他行为,从而有利于互动的顺畅进行。本研究补充了会话分析领域对于语气词“吧”互动功能的研究,并为相应的互动功能提供了主位视角下的佐证,也为全面理解语气词“吧”的核心功能提供进一步的研究基础。此外,本研究也为我们理解“知识状态”在互动中的作用提供了新的认识。Adopting conversation analysis(CA)as its research method and drawing on data from naturally occurring conversations in Mandarin Chinese,this study demonstrates the particle Ba's interactional function of epistemic adjustment from an emic perspective.Data show that,when inquiring about information that are shared by both parties,the particle Ba can downgrade the speaker's certainty or his or her position on the epistemic gradient,and thus format that turn as doing seeking confirmation rather than any other actions,so that the interaction can move forward smoothly.This study contributes to the literature on the particle Ba in conversation analysis,provides emic evidence for the particle Ba's function of epistemic adjustment,and enhances the understanding of the core function of the particle Ba across different sequential environments.Besides,this study also provides a new insight into the comprehension of how epistemic status works in interaction.
