摘　　要：从石黑一雄小说《上海孤儿》的地景描写和文化空间特征进行解读,可深入探析具有双重文化背景的主人公班克斯在身份归属与心理焦虑层面上的动态变化,揭示他对纯粹的英国文化身份的向往、对上海租界理想家园的怀念以及为实现自我身份构建与周边异质文化的必要融入。该部作品中典型的文化地景表征与多层次的空间要素都有力地彰显了蕴含其中的丰富的历史、文化及社会内涵,值得深入思考与探究。From interpretation of the landscape description and cultural spatial characteristics of Kazuo Ishiguro's novel When We Were Orphans,we can deeply explore the dynamic changes of identity belonging and psychological anxiety of Banks,the protagonist with dual cultural background,and reveal his pursuit for pure British cultural identity,his nostalgia for ideal home of Shanghai concession and his attempt of integrating with heterogeneous culture in order to realize his self-identity.The typical cultural features of the landscapes and various spatial elements in this work strongly demonstrate historical,cultural and social connotations,which are worthy of deep interpretation and exploration.
