摘　　要：20世纪苏格兰作家刘易斯·格拉西克·吉本(Lewis Grassic Gibbon)的小说《苏格兰人的书》(A Scots Quair)三部曲是苏格兰文学的经典之作,但其中的天气叙事很少受到关注。其实,小说中大量出现的天气与气候变化描述既承担了作品的主要叙事功能,也是20世纪初苏格兰社会的灾难隐喻,并引导我们将文本视为前“气候变化小说”来阅读。通过将天气变化内置于作为小说核心的“变化问题”,《苏格兰人的书》构建了一种“变化诗学”,连接20世纪30年代苏格兰的地方经验与世界命运,也超前地为身处气候变化语境的当代读者提供了启示。Weather narratives in A Scots Quair trilogy by twentieth-century Scottish author Lewis Grassic Gibbon have received less attention.In fact,the abundant description of change of the weather and climate is not only a necessary narrative strategy,but also metaphor for the catastrophes of early twentieth-century Scottish society;besides,it leads us to read the trilogy as proto-“cli-fi”.Through putting the weather change in the core of“problem of change”,the trilogy constructs a“poetics of change”that connects Scottish local experiences and global destiny in the 1930s,and inspires contemporary readers to dwell in an epoch of climate change.
