摘　　要：随着全球气温上升和气候极端事件的增多,气候变化所带来的风险已经成为需要金融系统引起重视的风险之一,商业银行在数字技术的推动下进行数字化转型,以适应新的环境和风险。本文采用2010—2021年230家商业银行的面板数据进行实证分析。研究结果表明:气候变化会促使商业银行利用数字化转型手段应对其带来的风险,从而推动商业银行数字化转型的发展;面临较高信用风险和流动性风险的商业银行,在应对气候变化时会更加迫切地需要通过数字化转型来提升自身的抗风险能力;在面临气候变化带来的挑战时,碳排放强度较高地区的商业银行,会更倾向于通过数字化转型来增强自身的适应性和抗风险能力;在气候变化对商业银行数字化转型的影响中呈现了一定的异质性。本文研究成果有助于商业银行利用数字化转型更好地应对气候变化挑战。With the rise of global temperatures and the increase of extreme climate events,the risks caused by climate change have become one that needs to be taken seriously by the financial system.Commercial banks pursue digital transformation with the help of digital technology to adapt to the new environment with new risks.This paper uses the panel data from 230 commercial banks from 2010 to 2021 for empirical analysis.The results show that:Firstly,climate change will prompt commercial banks to use digital transformation to deal with the risks brought by climate change,thereby promoting the development of digital transformation of commercial banks.Secondly,for commercial banks facing higher credit risk or liquidity risk,digital transformation is more urgently needed to address the risks brought about by climate change.Thirdly,facing the challenges of climate change,commercial banks in regions with higher carbon emissions are more likely to use digital transformation to increase their adaptability and risk management.Finally,there is a certain heterogeneity in the impact of climate change on the digital transformation of commercial banks.The research results of this paper have reference significance for commercial banks to better cope with the challenges of climate change in the process of digital transformation.
