民国时期民众图书馆学家徐旭的阅读推广思想研究

摘　　要：民众图书馆学家徐旭在阅读指导和推广方面造诣颇深,他的阅读推广思想以民众教育为依托,以阅读指导为中心,以阅读推广为轨辙,因人,因事,因地,因时逐级分层展开。在阅读指导上他提出按照民众文化程度、职业需要、民众年龄以及根据时间、事件、地方的不同综合运用不同的阅读指导法的原则。在阅读推广上他强调了图书馆办阅读推广事业,要做好调查工作,定好计划,备置好工具,他还提出了做好阅读推广的办法。综合看来他的阅读推广思想主要涵盖了阅读指导和阅读推广两方面的理论。他的阅读推广思想,不仅惠及了民国时期的图书馆,而且对现代图书馆的阅读推广活动也有很好的参考价值。Xu Xu,renowned as a leading figure in library science,excels in both reading guidance and promotion.His library science philosophy is rooted in public education,centered around reading instruction,and guided by the promotion of reading.This approach is implemented progressively and systematically across various contexts,including individuals,events,locations,and time periods.Regarding reading instruction,he advocated for the use of various methods tailored to individuals'educational levels,professional needs,age groups,and varying circumstances such as time,events,and regions.In the realm of reading promotion,he stressed the importance of libraries conducting thorough research,formulating effective plans,and equipping with the necessary tools.He also proposed strategies for effective reading promotion.Overall,his library science ideas encompass theories of both reading instruction and promotion.His insights not only impacted libraries during the Republic of China era but also serve as valuable resources for contemporary reading promotion efforts in libraries.
