乙酰化时间对热致性液晶聚合物性能的影响

摘  要:本文以热致性液晶聚合物(TLCP)工业生产中涉及的常用含酚羟基单体原料为研究对象,分析计算了5种含酚羟基单体的酰化效率。通过傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)和核磁共振氢谱(1 H NMR)研究发现,随着酰化反应时间的延长,含酚单体的酰化效率升高。当酰化时间为30 min时,所有单体的酰化效率均达80%以上。为了进一步探究酰化时间对TLCP的影响,合成了酰化时间分别为30 min和2 h的液晶聚合物TLCP-I和TLCP-II。通过特性黏度测试发现,2种液晶聚合物的特性黏度相差不大。差示扫描量热(DSC)和热失重分析(TG)结果表明,合成的TLCP-I和TLCP-II都具有高熔融温度和良好的热稳定性,2种TLCP的熔融温度和热失重温度都很接近,表明将乙酰化时间缩短至30 min对TLCP的相对分子质量、熔融温度等影响不大,这对于优化TLCP生产工艺,提高生产效率具有重要意义。In this study,the commonly used phenolic hydroxyl monomer raw materials involved in the industrial production of thermotropic liquid crystalline polymers(TLCPs)were studied,and the acetylation efficiencies of five phenolic hydroxyl monomers were analyzed and calculated.The results of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and 1 H nuclear magnetic resonance(1 H NMR)spectra show that as the acylation reaction time increases,the acetylation efficiencies of phenolic monomers increase.When the acetylation time is 30 minutes,the acetylation efficiencies of all monomers reach over 80%.To further investigate the effects of acetylation time on TLCPs,the two liquid crystalline polymers(TLCP-I and TLCP-II)with acetylation times of 30 min and 2 h,respectively,were synthesized.The intrinsic viscosity test results reveal that the intrinsic viscosity values of the two TLCPs are not significantly different.Differential scanning calorimetr(DSC)and thermogravimetry(TG)analysis results indicate that TLCP-I and TLCP-II have high melting temperature and good thermal stability.The melting temperature and thermogravimetric temperature of TLCP-I and TLCP-II are close.This suggests that shortening the acetylation time to 30 min has little effects on the relative molecular mass and melting temperature of TLCPs.This is of great significance for optimizing the TLCP production processes and improving production efficiency.
