摘　　要：科学技术的进步与人文精神的积淀是推动城市发展的两翼。前者的目标指向未来,追求城市硬件设施的不断更新迭代,以创造安全、高效、方便、舒适的城市环境;后者在面向未来的同时,更应不断回望,以重拾城市中逐步消失的山水诗意、邻里互动及市民的文化认同与归属感,营造温馨安逸的城市生活氛围。只有让科学技术与人文精神两翼协同并进,才能更有效地推动城市的高质量发展,就如同美国社会学家和城市规划理论家刘易斯·芒福德(Lewis Mumford)所说:“在城市发展史中,科学技术始终是重要的推动力,但是文化因素则一直起着重要的平衡作用。”The progress of science and technology and the accumulation of humanistic spirit are the two wings that drive urban development.The former aims at the future,pursuing the continuous updating and iteration of urban hardware facilities to create a safe,efficient,convenient,and comfortable urban environment;the latter,while looking towards the future,should constantly look back to regain the gradually disappearing poetic landscape,neighborhood interactions,and the cultural identity and sense of belonging of the citizens in the city,to build up a cozy and comfortable urban living atmosphere.Only when the two wings of science and technology and humanistic spirit work together can we more effectively promote the high-quality development of the city,just as the American sociologist and urban planning theorist Lewis Mumford said:"In the history of urban development,science and technology has always been an important driving force,but the cultural factors have always played an important balancing role."
