摘　　要：科研机构对产业部门的知识溢出是影响一个地区创新活力的重要因素。然而,现有研究较多关注经典的地理因素,即“产”与“研”之间的地理距离对这种溢出效果的影响,却忽视了另一个至关重要的因素——“产”与“研”在领域分布上的“适配性”。有鉴于此,本文在城市层面上构建和计算了刻画产研适配性的指标,从而实证考察了产研适配性对城市创新溢出效果的影响。研究表明,产研适配性是影响一个城市内科研机构对产业部门创新溢出效应的关键因素,城市内产研适配性越高,科研机构对产业部门创新表现的促进作用越显著。进一步的机制分析表明,产研适配有助于促进科研机构与产业部门之间的合作研发,以及前者向后者的成果转让和后者对前者的技术吸收。本文的研究对深化产学研融合、充分激发城市内不同创新主体之间的互动效应等政策议题具有现实启示。Knowledge spillovers from research institutions to industrial sectors are a critical factor that influences regional innovation vitality.Existing studies on knowledge and technology spillovers from research institutions,such as universities,to industrial sectors have primarily followed the traditional approach of classic literature,which emphasizes geographic factors,particularly the geographical distance between production and research,and their impact on these interactions and spillover effects.However,such perspectives and approaches overlook another crucial dimension—the compatibility between production and research in terms of their sectoral distribution.For instance,consider a region where the specialized research areas and technological domains of its research institutions are weakly connected to its dominant and competitive industries,that is,the compatibility is low.Even if the geographic and spatial proximity between research institutions and the technological and research and development(R&D)departments of firms is close,the lack of sectoral alignment may result in limited interaction,making it difficult for the two to generate meaningful innovation exchange—as the saying goes“one cannot recognize a stranger without a meeting.”Therefore,for a region,the compatibility between production and research in terms of sectoral distribution(hereafter production-research compatibility)is fundamental to unleashing and maximizing the innovation spillover effects of research institutions on industrial sectors.Furthermore,this insight provides valuable implications for examining and addressing the integration of production and research at the regional level.For a long time,the“two-layer”problem in the production-research relationship has been criticized.At the regional level,“misallocation”between production and research plays a central role in this issue.Therefore,increasing attention to production-research compatibility at the regional level and effectively guiding it is an effective path to resolv
