摘 要:As March brought rising temperatures to Beijing, the city entered its spring migratory bird season.A multitude of migratory birds are passing through or stopping in the Chinese capital during their northward journey, while local resident birds are becoming increasingly active.Unfortunately, this surge in bird activity also leads to a rise in the number of injured birds. In early March, compassionate citizens came to the rescue of a second-class nationally protected Eurasian Eagle Owl.This majestic bird had been driven into the water by a mob of crows in the capital’s Houhai Lake area.
