摘 要:十六国北朝时期中土佛教兴盛,多有与外境的佛教交流。一是中土佛教以创新性观念、寺院建设、与外道的论辩中建立起自信,这是中土佛教域外交流基础。二是中土佛教的西向传播,如吕光伐胡,左末城中图佛与菩萨,乃无胡貌;中土僧人著述以胡书写之,传于西域,及西行求法之士宣扬中土佛教、传播中华文化等。三是西行求法之士,向西土展示了中土僧人的信念,并介绍中华文化。于是,开启中土佛教自我发展的道路。Central China's Buddhism flourished and exchanged frequently with foreign countries in the Sixteen States and the Northern Dynasty.First,in the course of constructing temples and debating with other religious groups,Central China's Buddhism built up the self-confidence with creative ideas,constituting the basis of exchanges with foreign countries.Second,Central China's Buddhism spread westwards.For example,the pictures of Buddha and Bodhisattva in the town of Zuomuo didn't look like foreigners when Lv Guang led the armed forces to conquer the minorities,Central China's Buddhists wrote books in foreign language for the westward spread,and Buddhists dispersed Central China's Buddhism and the Chinese culture while traveling westwards to learn Buddhism.Third,Buddhists demonstrated their faith and introduced the Chinese culture to foreigners while traveling westwards to learn Buddhism.All these help to actuate the self-development of Central China's Buddhism.
