摘 要:《历代神仙通鉴》是一部成书于明末清初的仙传小说。该书因收录耶稣传而引起晚清来华西人的浓厚兴趣和持续关注。麦尔文、欧德理等人围绕《历代神仙通鉴》记载的中国古史真伪问题发表了种种共识、歧见和争论,这些观点在一定程度上体现了19世纪下半叶欧洲汉学发展历程中出现的两种研究方法,揭示了此时欧洲学术脉络中流行的东方学传统和语文学准则对于汉学研究的重要影响,从方法论视角上呈现了19世纪下半叶欧洲汉学发展的阶段特征。The Complete History of Immortals in History is a novel about immortals written in the late Ming or early Qing dynasties,which aroused great interest and continued attention from Western scholars coming to China in the late Qing dynasty because it included a biography of Jesus.McIlvaine,Ernst Johann Eitel and other scholars have published a diversity of opinions,disagreements,and arguments on the authenticity of the ancient Chinese history recorded in The Complete History of Immortals in History.These views,to some extent,reflect the two research methodologies that emerged in the development of European Sinology in the second half of the 19th century,and reveal the significant influence of the prevailing Orientalist tradition and philological tradition in the European academic context of Sinological research at that time.They also reveal the characteristic development of the stages of European Sinology in that time from the specific perspective of Sinological methodologies.
