在研究临摹美国大都会艺术博物馆藏中国山西广胜寺壁画《药师佛佛会图》过程中的发现与推论

摘　　要：元代壁画《药师佛佛会图》本为山西广胜寺下寺大雄宝殿遗物,民国时期流散海外,现藏于美国大都会艺术博物馆。2024年,中国艺术研究院与美国大都会艺术博物馆启动合作项目,围绕该壁画展开研究与临摹。在课题进行过程中,笔者发现诸多修复误判与拼接错位问题,遂结合广胜寺现存壁画遗迹与历史文献,尝试复原《药师佛佛会图》与大殿的原境关系。此次研究性临摹意在保护文化遗产、复兴传统,使中国传统壁画之神韵得以传续千秋,启迪后人。The Yuan Dynasty mural Buddha of Medicine,Bhaishajyaguru(Yaoshi fo)originally adorned the Daxiong Hall of the Lower Temple at Guangsheng Temple in Shanxi.It was scattered overseas during the Republic of China period and is now housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the United States.In 2024,a collaborative research and copying project was initiated between the Chinese National Academy of Arts and the Metropolitan Museum of Art,focusing on this mural.During the project,the author discovered several issues related to misjudgments in restoration and misalignments in the mural's patchwork.Subsequently,the author drawing on the existing mural remains at Guangsheng Temple and historical documents,attempted to restore the spatial relationship between the Buddha of Medicine,Bhaishajyaguru(Yaoshi fo)and the Daxiong Hall.The goal of this research-based copying is to preserve cultural heritage,revive tradition,and ensure the continued transmission of the spiritual essence of Chinese traditional murals for future generations.
