摘  要:INTRODUCTION.On May 1st,2024,around 2:10 a.m.,a catastrophic collapse occurred along the Meilong Expressway near Meizhou City,Guangdong Province,China,at coordinates 24°29′24″N and 116°40′25″E.This collapse resulted in a pavement failure of approximately 17.9 m in length and covering an area of about 184.3 m^(2)(Chinanews,2024).
