从“绝对他者”到“跨文化同盟者”:当代澳大利亚土著小说中的华人与原住民关系探析

摘　　要：澳大利亚土著小说自21世纪以来取得了令人瞩目的成就。然而,学界的关注多集中于白人与原住民之间的矛盾纠葛,却忽略了华人与原住民之间更为悠久的交往史。三部获得“迈尔斯·富兰克林奖”的土著小说《卡彭塔利亚湾》《心中的明天》和《多嘴多舌》是展现澳大利亚华人与原住民关系的重要作品。本文通过分析、论述和阐释三部小说中华人与土著族群错综复杂的关系,揭示两者关系的历史演变过程,即从“绝对他者”向“相对他者”和“跨文化同盟者”的转变,指出华人与原住民关系的变迁是澳大利亚社会权力话语机制转换的缩影。The 2lst century has witnessed remarkable achievements of Aboriginal novelists.However,scholarly attention has predominantly focused on the complex relationships between Aboriginal people and white settlers,often overlooking the much longer history of Aboriginal-Chinese interactions.Three Aboriginal novels—Carpentaria,Benang,From the Heart,and Too Much Lip—which won the prestigious Miles Franklin Award,offer contemporary Aboriginal insights into the historical development of the Aboriginal-Chinese relationships.This article analyzes,discusses,and expounds the intricate dynamics between Chinese and Aboriginal communities,revealing a transformation from"absolute other",to"relative other"and then to"cross-cultural alliance".This trajectory is an epitome of the shifts in the mechanisms of power discourse in Australian society.
