摘  要:Carotenoids are the largest group of natural pigments responsible for the yellow,orange,and red colors in plant kernels,fruits,and leaves(Gupta and Hirschberg,2021).In plants,carotenoids are involved in manybiological processes,such as acting as accessory light-harvesting pigments in photosynthesis,participating in photoprotection,and serving as precursors for the hormones abscisic acid(ABA)and strigolactones(Ruiz-Sola and Rodriguez-Concepcion,2012).
