Overview on the Cultural Relics and Archaeology Work of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2024

摘　　要：2024年,内蒙古自治区文物考古研究院成立七十周年,又是红山文化命名七十周年。七十年来,一代一代内蒙古考古人筚路蓝缕、栉风沐雨,打下了坚实的基础。而今在原来的基础之上,研究时限从旧石器时代古人类起源到现代革命文物的普查,研究领域包括聚落、城址、墓葬、祭祀址、长城、石窟寺、玉石矿等。通过区域性调查、精细化发掘、多学科手段、大遗址保护等方法与理念的开展与实施,在“考古中国”“中华文明探源工程”课题中都有重要参与,各项工作也都取得了长足发展。对外宣传与学术交流、文物的挖掘与阐释利用、公众考古活动等在边疆考古研究及打响北疆文化品牌等方面也在不断尝试。In 2024,it was the year of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology,and the 7Oth anniversary of the naming of the Hongshan Culture.Over these seven decades,generations of Inner Mongolian archaeologists have blazed a trail through bramblesand thorns,braving the wind and rain,and laid a solid foundation.Today,our research scope has expanded from the Paleolithic origin of ancient humans to the modern-day census of revolutionary cultural relics.It encompasses various fields such as settlements,city sites,tombs,sacrificial sites,the Great Wall,cave temples,and jade mines.By implementing methods like regional investigations,refined excavations,multidisciplinary approaches,and large-scale site protection,we've actively participated in"Archaeology of China"and the"Chinese Civilization Exploration Project",achieving substantial progress in all aspects of our work.In the area of frontier archaeological research and the branding of northern frontier culture,we're making efforts in external publicity,academic exchanges,the excavation,interpretation,and utilization of cultural relics,and the promotionof public archaeological activities.
