摘　　要：“走西口”是明清时期长城以南晋陕等地民众为谋生或经商而迁徙到内蒙古地区的人口迁徙活动。“走西口”人口迁移历史经验体现在:各民族经济上相互依存对游牧经济与农耕经济的交往起到相互调节、彼此补充的作用;各民族文化上的兼收并蓄丰富了中华优秀传统文化;情感上的相互亲近促进了各民族团结互助、和谐相处。“走西口”作为民族团结、多民族交往交流交融的典范,其蕴含的民族精神及西口文化仍具有现实价值。“Movement of Going West”was the history of the movement of people who migrated to Inner Mongolia from the south of the Great Wall in Shanxi and Shaanxi during the Ming and Qing dynasties to earn a living or to do business,and was a history of unity and struggle of all ethnic groups.The historical experience of population migration in the West Exit is reflected in:The economic interdependence of the ethnic groups makes the interaction between the nomadic economy and the agrarian economy play a mutually regulating and complementary role,the cultural integration of the various ethnic groups en-riches the excellent traditional Chinese culture,and the emotional closeness of the various ethnic groups promotes their uni-ty,mutual assistance and harmonious coexistence.As a model of ethnic unity and interactions,exchanges,and integration,the national spirit and culture contained still have practical value.
