视觉语法视角下纪录片的国家形象建构研究——以《柴米油盐之上》为例

摘　　要：近年来,中外合拍纪录片逐渐成为中国形象“走出去”的重要途径。本研究以中外合拍纪录片《柴米油盐之上》为研究对象,使用Kress和VanLeeuwen的视觉语法作为理论框架,分别从再现意义、互动意义和构图意义对该纪录片的视觉模态进行分析,探究该纪录片塑造了怎么样的中国国家形象。研究发现,该纪录片塑造了脚踏实地、敢于奋斗的中国人物形象,以人为本的中国社会形象,追求创新发展的中国经济形象。本研究拓宽了纪录片的研究视角,进一步明确了中外合拍纪录片在国家形象建构与传播中的重要作用,对“如何讲好中国故事”有一定的借鉴意义。In recent years,Sino-foreign co-produced documentary has become an important way for China’s image to“go global”.This study takes the Sino-foreign documentary“A Long Cherished Dream”as research data,adopting Kress&Van Leeuwen’s Visual Grammar to analyze visual modalities in terms of representational meaning,interactive meaning and compositional meaning,and to explore the construction of China’s national image.The study finds that through visual modalities the documentary provides a depiction of resilient Chinese people,a society focusing on people’s livelihood and a country pursuing innovation and development.This study not only broadens the perspective of documentary studies but also provides new scope for the study of national image construction.This study also offers valuable insights into“how to tell the Chinese story well”.
