This study systematically explores the impact of seasonal changes on the color matching of plant spaces, with a focus on analyzing the characteristics and variation patterns of plant colors throughout the four seasons.Through in-depth research on plant colors in the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter, the results show that plant colors in different seasons not only have significant differences in visual expression, but also reflect the dynamic changes in plant growth cycles and ecological functions. On this basis, this study proposes a plant color matching strategy based on seasonal characteristics, emphasizing the combination of color contrast and harmony to create a layered and visually appealing landscape effect.Taking Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden as a case study, the effectiveness of these strategies in practical application was verified, and the results showed that reasonable color matching significantly improved the aesthetic value and ecological function of the landscape. This study provides scientific basis and practical reference for modern landscape design, urban greening, and environmental aesthetics, laying a theoretical and practical foundation for innovative development in related fields.
