宋代燈録文本的生成——以《荆門玉泉皓長老塔銘》爲線索

摘　　要：燈録是研究襌宗史的基本文獻。早期研究者試圖通過嚴格的史料批判方法,甄别出#宗史中的“真歷史”與“假歷史”。後來部分研究者跳出原先範式,指出燈録亦屬宗教文獻,同樣包含宗教立場。襌宗史的研究至今仍在判别文本中的“真假歷史”與懷疑全部文本都是“對實在的文字想象”遣兩種極端之間徘徊,至於燈録本身的文本來源及節録標準尚未得到充分討論。張商英撰寫的《荆門玉泉皓長老塔銘》和《建中靖國黷燈録》中相關文字的保存,爲覲察宋代燈録文本的生成提供了機會。本文通過比對塔銘與燈録記载,揭示禅師傳記書寫從原始文獻到宗教文獻的變化。進而發掘禪史文獻的書寫動嘰,指出應在具體的暦史語境中理解襌史文獻的形成過程。Lamp Histories are fundamental texts for the study of Chan Buddhism history.Early scholars attempted to employ rigorous historical-critical methods to distinguish between"true history"and"false history"within Chan history.Later,some scholars moved beyond this paradigm,pointing out that the Lamp Histories are also religious documents that contain religious biases.Research on Chan history continues to oscillate between the extremes of distinguishing"true"from"false"history in the texts and suspecting all texts as"literary imaginations of reality."The sources of the Lamp Histories themselves and the criteria for their compilation have not been sufficiently discussed."The Stupa Inscription of Abbot Yuquan Chenghao in Jingmen"written by Zhang Shangying and related texts preserved in the Jianzhongjingguoxudenglu provide an opportunity to observe the formation of lamp history text.This article reveals the transformation in the writing of Chan masters'biographies from original documents to religious documents by comparing stupa inscriptions with records in the lamp history.Furthermore,it explores the motivations behind the creation of historical texts in Chan Buddhism,pointing out that the formation process of these texts should be understood within their specific historical contexts.
